Bookings and Cancellations

While we understand that things arise that create the need to cancel a booking after it has been made, the booking itself stops other pets from reserving a room, or a particular type of room. Therefore cancellations can cost the business in two ways. Unfortunately, to offset this we must have a cancellation policy in effect throughout the year.

Bookings must be canceled at least one week (over 7 days) prior to the check-in date to avoid cancellation fees.

Late Cancellation Fees
if you cancel...
More than 7 - days prior = No cancellation Fee.
Less than 7 days (but more than 3 days prior) = 33% of the original booking estimate fee.
Less than 3 days prior = 50% of the original booking estimate fee.

Rates for kennels vary by options, so if you are unsure of the rate for the kennel you have reserved, please ask. Cancellation fees for Multiple pets booked in one kennel will only be calculated at the single pet rate for that kennel.

Bailey's Rule: A credit card on file (or cash deposit), will be required at the time of reservation.
Casey's Rule: All refunds on credit card transactions over $50 will incur a 3% processing fee unless the reason for the refund is an error on our part (sounds fair!).

Long Stay Rule: For animals staying over one week in duration, credit cards on file will be charged weekly for the prior weeks services. Weekly charges do not represent the final bill and any missing or additional charges will be made up at the time of final checkout. Nonpayment of weekly charges imply an intent not to pay for services and will initiate abandonment proceedings.
